The price for this brush is great and it provides a nice even application. However, mine started loosing texture, shape (and bristles) after about a year and I had to toss it. Definitely not as high quality as the Prescriptives brush I use for foundation. I've had good luck so far with a small Sonia Kashuk brush for eye shadow, so I think this line of brushes might be a good value for low intensity or less frequent use.
Customer Review: Works fine, but doesn't hold up

As the seasons change, so do the hair, makeup and fashion trends. One of the exciting things about being a woman, is we're forever playing "dress up."
We absolutely loved what we saw on the runways, that will pave the road for 2007 fall hair styles.
Leading the pack by a mile was Gucci. Hairstyles were reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour - the epitome of femininity. This is actually not a very difficult look to achieve with a little practice.

The first thing you need to do before anything, is clean up any summer damage with a good haircut and freshen up your color.
You do need at least shoulder length hair, preferably longer. Don't have it? No problem. Pick up Jessica Simpson's Hair-do hair extensions for no-commitment locks which are available in a large variety of colors - or you can go for the pricier option of permanent hair extensions.
Step 1. Wash your hair with a volumizing shampoo and wrap in a towel for 5 minutes to absorb excess moisture. (Rubbing your head with a towel like a wet dog causes breakage so try to avoid this)
Step 2. Apply mousse and a light shine serum to wet or damp hair. Avoid glopping the shine serum on the roots, as you may end up looking greasy.
Step 3. Blow dry your hair on a medium setting (this causes less damage) with a round brush or paddle brush in 2-3 inch sections. Blow out in an upward motion to create volume. As each section becomes dry, press the "cool" button on your blow dryer for 5-10 seconds to add shine and smooth hair.
Step 4. Set your hair in large hot rollers. Leave them in until they are completely cool. This is a great time to apply your makeup.
Step 5. Take out rollers and part your hair very low on the side. Gently brush your hair to give it that soft look.
Step 6. With tissue paper folded in little squares or perm wrap papers - these are used to avoid bobby pin crease lines - pin your hair above the ear and spray lightly all over. With this style the hair should be close to your head on top, not high on the head.
After around 5 minutes, remove the pins and mist one more time with a light hairspray. You want your hair to have movement.
Experiment with pins and barrettes to dress up the look even more.
